1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and StyleFinder ("we", "us"), operated by a sole trader in Iceland. They apply to the StyleFinder app and the stylefindr.app website. By using StyleFinder you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (stylefindr.app/privacy). If you don't agree, please don't use StyleFinder.

2. Who Can Use StyleFinder

StyleFinder is for everyone. If you're under the age of majority where you live, please use StyleFinder with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms for you.

3. What StyleFinder Does

StyleFinder lets you photograph or upload an outfit, choose the items you want, and find matching or similar products from third-party retailers and resale marketplaces. You can save favourites to your Closet and share finds with friends. StyleFinder is not a store: we don't sell, ship, or return any products.

4. AI Results

Results are produced by artificial intelligence and automated search. They can be wrong: an item may be misidentified, a match may not be exact, and prices, sizes, and availability can change or differ from what the retailer shows. Always check the details on the retailer's site before you buy. Results are for discovery only and are not professional advice.

5. Your Photos

You keep ownership of the photos you scan. You give us a limited licence to process them (including sending the part you crop to the AI and search services we use) only to give you results, and, if you choose to share a find, to show that card at its link. You confirm you have the right to use each photo, and you won't scan photos of other people in a way that breaks their privacy or the law.

6. Sharing

When you share a find, anyone with its link can see that card (your scanned photo and the matched products) until it expires after 180 days or you delete your data. Don't use sharing to spam people. We may remove shared finds that break these Terms.

7. Retailers

Products link to third-party retailers and marketplaces. Any purchase is solely between you and that seller under their own terms; we aren't responsible for their products, prices, delivery, returns, or conduct.

8. Acceptable Use

Don't use StyleFinder to break the law or anyone's rights; upload unlawful, harmful, or explicit material; harass others; interfere with or overload the service; reverse engineer, copy, or resell the app or its results; scrape data or use bots; or get around security, usage limits, or payment.

9. Subscriptions and Free Trial

StyleFinder Premium is an auto-renewing weekly or monthly subscription. The price and length are shown in the app before you buy. A free trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers; when it is, its length is shown before you start it, and unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, your paid subscription begins and you're charged for the plan you chose. Not every offer includes a free trial. Premium includes up to 200 finds (item searches) each calendar month; unused finds don't carry over, and the count resets on the 1st of each month.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends). Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings; cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. If a price changes, Apple will tell you in advance as its rules require.

10. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can't issue refunds ourselves.

11. Our Rights

The StyleFinder app, name, logo, design, and content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by Apple's Usage Rules. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Changes to the Service

We keep improving StyleFinder, so features may change, be added, or be removed. We may also pause the service for maintenance. We'll try to tell you in advance about changes that significantly affect your subscription.

13. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, StyleFinder is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that results will be accurate or that the service will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, lost profits or data, purchases you make from retailers, or decisions based on AI results. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous 12 months or USD 100. This doesn't limit liability that can't be limited by law.

15. Ending Your Use

You can stop using StyleFinder at any time and delete your data in the app (Closet → Account → Delete Account Data). Deleting the app or your data doesn't cancel a subscription; do that in your App Store settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, for security reasons, or if the law requires it.

16. Apple Terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and intellectual property claims. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes go to the courts of Iceland. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims there.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. If you keep using StyleFinder after changes take effect, the updated Terms apply.
